Trullo Ibisco - Sleeps 8

OVERVIEW

Trullo Ibisco is a traditional Apuglian-style villa with a revamped contemporary feel, sleeping up to eight people across the main house, a self-contained trullo and a luxury yurt.

Ibisco sits just outside the whitewashed fairy-tale city of Ostuni, surrounded by ancient olive and almond groves, and is only a short drive from Puglia’s crystalline coastline. Trullo Ibisco has a Saturday changeover.

OVERVIEW

Allegra sleeps up to 8 people in 3 bedrooms and has a Saturday changeover.

This villa is the little sister to neighbouring villa, Livadi. The villas can be taken individually or together, for larger groups.

THE BEDROOMS

Ibisco’s four chalky-white bedrooms sleep up to eight people and are finished with delicate Baroque-style details, lending each one its own unique charm. There are two bedrooms in the main house sleeping up to four people, a self-contained trullo suite for two, and a luxury air-conditioned yurt sleeping a further two. The separate trullo bathroom next door to the main house is a whole marvel in itself…

Bedrooms 1 & 2 are located in the main house:

Bedroom 1 has a super king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower.
Bedroom 2 has a super king-size double bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower.

Bedrooms 3 & 4 have their own separate entrances:

Bedroom 3 (Trullo Suite I) has a double bed, kitchenette area and a bathroom next door with a bath. This bedroom sits right next to the main house.
Bedroom 4 (The Yurt) has a double bed and a bathroom next door with a shower. This bedroom sits opposite the house in the garden.

ENTERTAINING AREAS & FACILITIES

All on one floor, the owners have built this Apulian pad entirely from scratch to recreate a traditional trullo-style villa with a contemporary feel and eco-friendly ethos. Filled with local antique finds, the open-plan living and kitchen area opens up into an impressive gallery-style dining space. Fully sustained by solar energy, the entertaining areas at Ibisco have been designed using raw natural materials and finished with biscotti-hued bespoke craftsmanship.

THE POOL & OUTDOOR AREAS

Italian summers at Ibisco have never looked so good. With shaded areas aplenty, dreamy poolside day beds and a fully equipped outdoor kitchen, the outdoor areas at this Apuglian pad have been designed with lazy alfresco days in mind. The owners produce their own olive oil from the surrounding ancient olive groves (they’ll be a bottle waiting for you on arrival). And next up: biscuits. There are plans to soon start whipping these up from the neighbouring almond groves!
