A beautiful website will go amiss if people aren’t finding it, which is why it is important to stay ahead of the game when it comes to Search Engine Optimisation and targeted advertising. So, we work with a fantastic company, UMI Digital, who specialise in putting these practices into place, so our website and your villa are easily found by guests online.

How Much Can You Earn

How much your villa can earn you depends on the size, condition and location of your property. We believe in striking the right balance between occupancy and revenue in order to maintain a high quality guest experience. It makes no sense to rent your property every night in the year as profitability will be impeded by running costs and inevitable wear and tear. For this reason, we aim to get the highest possible price per night for up to 70% occupancy to ensure we maximise your revenue and maintain the quality of your property.

BEN SHEARER / MANAGING DIRECTOR

As Managing Director of Indigo Rock and its sister companies, Sand & Stone Escapes and The Peligoni Club, Ben Shearer is oversees the management, operation and development of the company. With an MA in fine art from Rhode Island school of Design, Ben has spent the last ten years overseeing the growth and development of two boutique travel companies along with a few renovation projects under his belt. Over the last few years Ben has worked with our property owners to bring out the best in their second homes abroad, advising on price, management and positioning.

HAMISH GORDON LENNOX / HEAD OF SALES

Bringing over 10 years experience in the travel industry to his role, Hamish oversees the day-to-day running of enquiries and bookings at Indigo Rock. With more bookings done directly online, Hamish ensures guests receive all the neccessary information and answers any queries with regards to the property and the local area. For those enquiries looking to getaway but not sure where to go, he employs his extensive knowledge of each property and the surrounding area to help them decide. Hamish also is the direct point of contact for all owners, answering any queries you have with regards to the management, letting or marketing of your property.

GEORGIE BERGHAEGHER  / BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT & PRODUCT MANAGEMENT

Georgie works in Business Development and is the first port of call for signing new properties and owners up to Indigo Rock and Sand & Stone Escapes, ensuring the smooth onboarding, set up and running of all properties in the portfolio, as well as finding new owners and villas for the Peligoni Group.  After obtaining a degree in modern languages from the University of Manchester, Georgie has gained over 10 years of experience in the travel industry, working with property owners and travel suppliers for many years and understanding the workings of private villa rentals and hotels well.  Georgie joined the Peligoni Group in 2017 and works closely with the sales and marketing team to ensure smooth running of the business.

ALEX SOUTHWARD / HEAD OF COMMUNICATIONS

Alex oversees all the marketing at Indigo Rock which primarily involves managing the PR, advertising and brand image of the business. After gaining a degree in the History of Art at Edinburgh University, Alex went on to study Chinese and settle in the city of Shanghai for 5 years. Here she worked in PR, branding and advertising for clients such as Porsche, Johnson & Johnson and UnionPay before returning to London.

LAURIE PETRUCCI / CONTENT MARKETING

Laurie is focused on all things content at Indigo Rock. Her main focus is managing and curating our Social Media content and Newsletters as well as managing the production of photography and filmic content.

A keen copywriter with a sharp eye, Laurie is focussed on delivering clear, enticing messaging alongside striking imagery. With a degree in Linguistics and previous experience creating and delivering newsletters for well-known news group, Laurie knows how to grab people’s attention in a fast-paced world.
