OVERVIEW

Villa Argo is a contemporary, clean-lined retreat that sits perched above St Nicholas Port with sweeping sea views, five double bedrooms (some with their own jacuzzis) and a sandy beach-effect infinity pool.

THE BEDROOMS

Argo has five generous bedrooms spread across two floors, including two additional sofa beds for kids if required. Whitewashed walls, wooden beams and vast sea views create a soothing bedroom backdrop for the modern furnishings and rattan details, and some come with their own jacuzzi. The cloud-like beds are all built into stone frames, adding to the character of these rooms, and each either has a private terrace or direct access to the pool. Plus there is plenty of storage space for those leave-nothing-behind packers.

First Floor
Bedroom 1 has an emperor-size bed with a jacuzzi, private terrace and an en-suite shower room.
Bedroom 2 has an emperor-size bed with a jacuzzi, private terrace and an en-suite shower room.

Ground Floor
Bedroom 3 has a super-king size bed with an en-suite shower room.
Bedroom 4 has a super-king/twin bed plus a sofa bed with an en-suite shower room.
Bedroom 5 has a super-king/twin bed plus a sofa bed with an en-suite shower room.

ENTERTAINING AREAS & FACILITIES

You can see why this villa took five years to build and renovate. The entertaining areas have been designed to perfection. Inside you’ll find a high spec kitchen with a long dining table seating up to 12 people. There’s also a separate sitting area with two L-shaped sofas and floor-to-ceiling glass sliding doors so those iconic sea views are never out of sight.

THE POOL & OUTDOOR AREAS

The outdoor kitchen and dining space is just as spectacular as the indoor set up, with top of the range facilities including a BBQ and a pizza oven, alongside stylish, laid-back decor, all sitting underneath the shade of a bamboo veranda. Everything is centred around the impressive infinity pool with its sandy beach-effect shallow end, perfect for smaller swimmers. There’s also a built in jacuzzi and a ping pong table.

AIRPORT INFORMATION

The airport code for Zakynthos is ZTH and is around a 45-minute – 1 hour drive from all of our villas.

FROM THE UK

There are direct flights from a large number of airports including London, Bristol, Birmingham, Nottingham, Manchester, Cardiff, and Edinburgh. Skyscanner is a great place to look at availability from all of these locations.

FROM OTHER EUROPEAN CITIES

Zakynthos is just an hour’s flight from Athens. There are direct flights to Athens from France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Sweden, Norway, Netherlands, Switzerland and plenty more European destinations.

INTERNATIONAL FLIGHTS

Guests venturing from further afield have a little extra travelling to do but it’s still feasible to get to Zakynthos from anywhere in the world. Guests travelling from the USA can hop on a number of direct flights to Europe from either Las Vegas, New York, Chicago, Orlando, Seattle, or Washington. There are also flights to Europe from major cities in Canada and South America.

International flights to Europe from the Middle East, Africa, Asia, Australia and New Zealand are also frequent. The best port of call is to find a direct flight to London or Athens, and take a direct flight to Zakynthos.

FROM NEARBY ISLANDS

For those who are hopping between the Greek islands, ferries from neighbouring island Kefalonia regularly arrive at the nearby port of Agios Nikolaos which is no more than a 15-minute drive to the majority of our villas. Our Concierge service can arrange for your hire car to be picked up there.
