OVERVIEW
The enchanting Castello nel Bosco, once abandoned for over a century, has been restored by expert artisans into a 10-bedroom luxury lair. Sitting just outside Lecce in Puglia’s spellbound southern hinterland, expect love at first sight once your eyes are cast upon Castello nel Bosco’s fairytale turrets.

OVERVIEW
Allegra sleeps up to 8 people in 3 bedrooms and has a Saturday changeover.
This villa is the little sister to neighbouring villa, Livadi. The villas can be taken individually or together, for larger groups.
THE BEDROOMS
There are 10 en-suite bedrooms sleeping up to 20 people in total, split across the main castle, the cottage, the tower and the masseria.
All bedrooms have both underfloor heating and cooling system, smart TVs cleverly tucked away behind vintage mirrors, Marshall Bluetooth speakers, and Ortigia bath products.
Bedrooms 1, 2, 3 & 4 are located in the main castle:
Bedroom 1 (The King Suite) has a super king-size bed and a bathroom with a bath and a shower.
Bedroom 2 (The Queen Suite) has a super king-size bed and a bathroom with a bath and a shower.
Bedroom 3 (The Prince Suite) has a super king-size bed and a bathroom with a shower.
Bedroom 4 (The Princess Suite) has a super king-size bed and a bathroom with a shower.
Bedrooms 5 & 6 are connecting suites located in the cottage:

The entertaining areas at Castello nel Bosco blend vintage glamour with the ultra modern. Expect high vaulted ceilings with restored frescoes, vibrant ceramic floor tiles and walls lined with carefully curated art work. There’s a grand sitting room with a 1902 Beckstein grand piano, a dining room, a boutique, a kitchen (for exclusive use only), an on-site restaurant serving anything from orecchiette ragus to wood fired pizzas, plus a regal roof terrace with a cocktail trolley for guaranteed dramatic sunsets. Oh and a private cinema, of course.

THE POOL & OUTDOOR AREAS
Alfresco lounging areas and ancient pathways pepper the 37 acres of private parkland and citrus groves that this fairytale castle sits within. Explore the grounds on one of the rickshaw bikes, available for guests to use as they please, and cool down in your choice of two pools (where occasionally a partially submerged disco dinner is hosted). And if you’re not soaking up the romantic setting on the castle’s rooftop, take part in one of the drawing classes amid the groves.
